1. Introduction
Welcome to Med School Hub (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website medschoolhub.com (the “Site”) and the purchase of our products and services, including online subscriptions to MCQs, web articles, flashcards, digital goods (flashcards), and any future medical educational content, clothing, and apparel (collectively, the “Products” or “Services”). By accessing or using our Site or purchasing our Products or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Med School Hub is operated by MED SCHOOL HUB (PVT) LTD, a company registered in Sri Lanka, with its registered address in the Colombo district, under the Piliyandala Divisional Secretariat.
2. Account Creation and User Responsibilities
2.1. Account Requirement: To access certain Services, including purchasing subscriptions and digital goods, you are required to create a user account on our Site.
2.2. Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information, including your username and password. You agree not to share your password with any third party. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your password.
2.3. No Age Restrictions (General Use): While our educational content is generally aimed at adults and older students, we do not impose specific age restrictions for accessing the Site or creating an account. However, any purchases made on the store will be assumed to be made by individuals with the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
3. Ordering and Payment
3.1. Order Process: Your order constitutes an offer to purchase our Products or Services. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We will confirm our acceptance by sending you an order confirmation, typically via email.
3.2. Payment Methods: We accept payments through the OnePay payment platform, direct bank transfers, and cash deposits. Cash on delivery is not available. You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information.
3.3. Pricing: All prices are listed in LKR and are subject to change without notice due to factors including but not limited to inflation, government taxes, and other operational expenses. The price you pay will be the price displayed at the time of your purchase, subject to any obvious errors.
3.4. Taxes: Applicable sales tax will be charged based on the relevant regulations. The amount of tax charged will depend on your location.
3.5. WooCommerce Integration: Our online store utilizes the WooCommerce platform for its features related to order processing, payment, and inventory management. Your use of these features is also subject to WooCommerce’s terms and conditions, in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
4. Shipping and Delivery (Physical Products)
4.1. Shipping Methods: We offer express shipping via FedEx and standard shipping via Sri Lanka Post for physical products (once available).
4.2. Shipping Responsibility: Once a physical product has been shipped and is in the possession of the designated shipping carrier, it is no longer our direct responsibility for loss or damage during transit. The shipping company bears the liability for any such issues.
4.3. Customer Assistance: While the shipping company is liable for loss or damage during shipping, we will reasonably assist you in liaising with the shipping company to address any claims or concerns regarding damaged or lost shipments.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. Website Content: All content on our Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Med School Hub or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
5.2. Restrictions on Use: You are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, modifying, displaying, performing, or otherwise using any of the content on our Site without our prior written consent.
5.3. Password Sharing Prohibition: Sharing your account login information to allow others to access subscription-based content is strictly prohibited. Any detected instances of password sharing will result in the immediate termination of your account without refund.
6. User-Generated Content
6.1. Comments: Registered users and subscribers may have the ability to post comments on articles or other areas of the Site.
6.2. Use of Comments for Advertisement: We reserve the right to publicize user comments for advertising and promotional purposes. By posting comments, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such comments throughout the world in any media.
6.3. Moderation: We reserve the right to monitor, edit, or remove any user-generated content, including comments and articles (if applicable in the future), that we deem to be inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
6.4. Author Compensation: Select users who contribute as authors will be compensated fairly for the content they create, which may include a percentage of advertising revenue generated from their content. The specific terms of compensation will be outlined in a separate agreement with the authors.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. The types of user data we collect are also influenced by the plugins we use, such as WooCommerce and the Ultimate Membership plugin.
8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
8.1. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Med School Hub and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, the purchase or use of our Products or Services, or these Terms and Conditions. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the Products or Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific Product or Service in question.

Disclaimer of Warranties: Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific physical product, our Products and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or our Products or Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the dispute may be submitted to the courts of Sri Lanka.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our Site and Services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or purchase of our Products or Services after the posting of revised Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of the changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for updates.
